Overview

The proposed project titled “PERFECT - Providing Environment and Resources for STEM 9th-12th Graders in Effective Cybersecurity Training” is an Office of Naval Research (ONR) funded three years project (2021 -2024). The main goal of the PERFECT project is to train Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) high school students (9 thru 12 graders) in cybersecurity awareness so that they can early identify cyber incidence, determine appropriate action, protect against cyber threats, detect the incidence, and respond to it timely as needed.

The PERFECT project aims:

  • Create cybersecurity awareness and secure computing instructions for STEM high school teachers and students.
  • Develop a valid cybersecurity framework and curriculum for high school teachers and students.
